The Advantaged

In this age, being in a focused and stable state throughout the day, without being a subject of distractions, is a superpower.The more we allow our thoughts to go berserk, harder it is to bring it back to the normal state of thinking.

This poem is penned to remind myself what are the advantages of doing the right things, at the right time, with the right intent and energy, for in the long run, that is what matters.

If you can go beyond, without crossing the boundary
If you can view the obvious, without any perception
If you can take it as is, without is taking you along
Congrats for you are staying in the center
Advantaged to move in any direction 

If you can comment on the nature, and not the person
If you can drink the wine, without being drunk by the droplets
If you can carry a benign smile, when surrounds are vile
Congrats for you are staying in the center

If you can make amends, without mending your goals or dreams,
If you can keep things easy enough, and not make it complex
If you can be present, without foraying back and forth
